Learning Officer

Main Function

• To support the planning, coordination, administration, and evaluation of training and competency development programmes, ensuring effective training delivery, accurate records, compliance reporting, and cost efficiency across assigned entities.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and administration of annual training plans in collaboration with relevant departments and management.
• Source and liaise with training consultants, vendors, and external service providers.
• Coordinate training logistics, registrations, approvals, and delivery of planned and ad hoc training programmes.
• Administer the LiZZY learning platform, create training sessions, and provide user support to employees and entities.
• Manage c-PAT and e-TAD tools for training needs requests and competency development.
• Evaluate training programmes, track effectiveness, and prepare summaries and reports for management.
• Develop and maintain training performance dashboards using Power BI and support the management of training master data.
• Manage mandatory e-learning and compliance training reports, including follow-up and catch-up sessions.
• Support learning and development campaigns, knowledge-sharing forums, Learning Day activities, and strategic L&D projects.
• Assist with training and competency matrices, training performance reports, and annual training plan preparation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities with training providers while maintaining training quality and relevance.
• Maintain accurate training records and registrations to support timely approvals and ITF reimbursement claims.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE training requirements, and medical certificate renewal procedures.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Human Resources, People Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years' relevant work experience.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience in training administration, learning management systems, vendor coordination, and training logistics is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Power BI and training data management is desirable.
• Strong documentation, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
