Student Recruitment & Social Media Officer

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and results-driven individual to join our team in a role that blends client recruitment with social media storytelling. If you love helping people and love creating content that moves them, this is your role.

You will be the frontline of MDC - both the voice of our brand online and the hand that guides clients from curiosity to commitment. You will recruit, nurture, convert, and amplify.

Duties & Responsibilities

Client Recruitment & Advisory

• Engage with prospective students, travelers, and clients via calls, WhatsApp, email, and social media DMs.
• Provide professional advisory services on study abroad programs, entry requirements, tuition fees, visa processes, and timelines.
• Guide clients through the full lifecycle - from initial inquiry to enrollment, visa application, and pre-departure support.
• Build trusted, lasting relationships with students, parents, and partner institutions.
• Manage and track all leads, applications, and conversions using MDC's system.
• Meet and exceed client recruitment and revenue targets.
• Proactively source new clients through referrals, personal networks, and strategic outreach

Social Media Marketing & Brand Storytelling

• Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Create high-quality, engaging content - graphics, short videos, reels, carousels, and copy that resonates with Nigerian and West African audiences.
• Manage all official MDC social media accounts: daily posting, community engagement, responding to comments and DMs.
• Monitor social media trends, viral content, and competitor activity to keep MDC relevant and visible.
• Track analytics and performance metrics to refine strategy and maximize reach and conversions.
• Use storytelling to showcase MDC's client success stories, services, and values in a relatable, inspiring way.
• Brand Representation & Consistency
• Ensure all communications (online and offline) reflect MDC's brand voice: professional, warm, helpful, and aspirational.
• Collaborate with the MDC team to align recruitment goals with marketing campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS:

• ND/HND/Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in student recruitment, sales, social media management, or related roles (experience in study abroad/travel is a strong plus).
• Proven ability to create engaging social media content (portfolio or social media handle required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must have reliable internet access.

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS

• We believe in rewarding dedication and results. This role offers growth, flexibility, and uncapped earning potential of up to 750,000 NGN (Fixed + commissions)
• Base Salary: NGN 50,000 per month (Fixed).
• Commission: 8% on all committed clients secured through your direct recruitment efforts.
