- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- M.SC, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP systems.
Additional Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations and controls.
- Ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Understanding of budgeting, costing, cash flow and financial planning.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards, taxation and regulatory requirements.
- Integrity, confidentiality and sound professional judgment.
- Ownership, accountability and ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Good knowledge of monetary market.
