Energy Officer

Job Description

• Ignite Energy Access is seeking motivated, energetic and result-oriented individuals to join its team as Energy Officers in Mokwa and its surrounding communities.
• The successful candidates will be responsible for driving the adoption of clean and affordable energy solutions by identifying potential customers, promoting the company's solar products, generating sales and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers through door-to-door marketing, community engagement and other sales activities.
• Promote and sell the company's solar home systems and other renewable energy products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, community leaders and local business owners.
• Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on the benefits of solar energy solutions.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and business growth objectives.
• Follow up with prospective customers and convert leads into successful sales.
• Monitor customer payments and support timely repayment collections.
• Provide basic customer support and escalate technical complaints where necessary.
• Prepare daily and weekly sales reports and provide market intelligence.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's presence within assigned communities.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of OND / NCE qualification; HND or Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, field operations, customer acquisition or financial services is an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
• Must be willing to work in the field and travel across Mokwa and neighbouring communities.
• Must be honest, hardworking, self-motivated and result-oriented.
• Basic smartphone and reporting skills are required.
• Knowledge of Mokwa and its surrounding communities is an added advantage.
