Surveillance Engineer - Cement Industry

  • Maintaining/Monitoring of all Surveillance equipment within the company premises used in preventing intrusion/theft of company properties.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of cctv equipment and troubleshooting of offline/faulty cameras daily.
  • To check the operational status of all cameras operational & report to Head of Department if any found not functional.
  • To check periodically that the recording of all cameras is happening and report if it is not recording.
  • To ensure CCTV footage recording back up is available for 150 days.
  • To report equipment failure to the site Head of Department to maximize operation of the system.
  • Ensure proper monitoring of all activities within the company premises to prevent intrusion/theft of company properties.
  • Report/escalate all violators daily appropriately as seen in the scene of the incident
  • Coordinate with cctv surveillance supervisor during field observation and report all abnormalities observed
  • Integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained in cctv control center by quality standards and legislation to ensure implementation of various modifications for smooth running.
  • Maintain proper shift handing over while running the shift.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality on security matters/ official information.
  • To comply with any other assignment(s) given by my supervisor/ Head of Department.
  • To proffer ideas to supervisor in improving cctv surveillance monitoring system.
  • Suggest modification for betterment of cctv devices/ equipment
  • Ensure cctv equipment are always in good working conditions
  • Ensure compliance to ISO (QMS, EMS & OHS) standards and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain housekeeping
  • Perform any other duty that may be assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or HND from a reputable institution in Engineering, Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 3 experience in CCTV operations and maintenance in a Manufacturing Organization.

Skills and Competencies:

· Excellent knowledge of IT equipment.

· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

· Good interpersonal skills using flexible and courtesy.

- Willingness to work flexible schedule
