Investment and Wealth Manager

Job Summary

• The Wealth Manager will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth and retail clients.
• The role requires strong sales expertise in investment products, effective client relationship management, portfolio monitoring, and consistent growth of Assets Under Management (AUM) on a yearly basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new clients through active sales, referrals, and networking to grow the investment client base.
• Market and sell investment products including mutual funds, fixed income products, equities, alternative investments, and structured products.
• Build and manage long-term relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
• Manage and monitor client investment portfolios in line with risk profiles, financial goals, and market conditions.
• Provide investment advisory services and periodic portfolio reviews to clients.
• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and yearly AUM growth targets.
• Prepare and present investment proposals, performance reports, and market updates to clients.
• Ensure proper onboarding, KYC, AML, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal investment, operations, and compliance teams to deliver seamless client service.
• Track client activity, sales pipeline, and portfolio performance using CRM and reporting tools.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing client portfolios.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Year-on-year growth in Assets Under Management (AUM).
• New client acquisition rate.
• Sales revenue and investment inflows.
• Client retention and satisfaction levels.
• Portfolio performance and compliance adherence.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–7 years’ experience in investment sales, wealth management, or relationship management.
• Proven track record in selling investment products and growing AUM.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio management, and investment strategies.
• Professional certifications (CFA, CIS, SEC license, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.

Salary
N800,000 - N1,000,000 per month.
