Mental Health Content Creator Volunteer

We are looking for a creative, empathetic, and culturally aware Mental Health Content Creator to develop engaging, educational, and impactful mental health content across digital platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, emotional wellbeing advocacy, youth engagement, and creating relatable content that reduces stigma while promoting mental wellness. You will help shape FriendnPal’s voice online by creating content that informs, inspires, educates, and drives meaningful conversations around mental health, emotional resilience, self-care, relationships, burnout, anxiety, workplace wellbeing, and digital wellness. Key Responsibilities Create engaging mental health content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, blogs, newsletters, and other digital platforms Develop educational, culturally relevant, and emotionally intelligent storytelling content Translate mental health concepts into relatable and easy-to-understand formats Collaborate with therapists, designers, product teams, and marketing teams Research mental health trends, youth culture, digital wellness, and social conversations Script short-form videos, campaigns, awareness content, and wellbeing initiatives Support campaign planning for mental health awareness, resilience, workplace wellbeing, and youth engagement Ensure content aligns with ethical mental health communication standards Participate in creative brainstorming and audience engagement initiatives Requirements Background in content creation, communications, psychology, journalism, media, public health, or related fields Strong storytelling and copywriting skills Experience creating content for social media platforms Understanding of mental health, emotional wellbeing, and youth-focused communication Ability to create culturally sensitive and engaging content Basic graphic design or video editing skills is a plus Passion for social impact, wellbeing, and digital storytelling Preferred Qualities Empathetic and emotionally intelligent Creative thinker with strong communication skills Passionate about youth wellbeing and mental health advocacy Up-to-date with social media and digital culture trends Ability to balance education with engaging storytelling
