Senior Network Engineer

Summary
- As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage its network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system availability.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Implement network security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct network risk and vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare network performance and incident reports for management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology initiatives and infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and IT support staff.
- Evaluate emerging networking technologies to improve performance, resilience, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in network engineering, preferably within the telecommunications or financial services sector.
- Strong expertise in routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise network monitoring and management tools.
- Solid understanding of network security technologies and best practices.
- Knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization technologies is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a collaborative team environment.
