Account Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers, and digital filing systems for all financial documentation.
• Support the senior accounting team with monthly bank reconciliations and account balance verification.
• Assist in preparing payroll details, tracking staff expenses, and filing routine statutory tax returns (PAYE, VAT, WHT).
• Process supplier payments and follow up on outstanding client receivables under supervision.
• Provide administrative support during internal and external audit preparation .

General Qualifications

• Preferably Female with ICAN or in view.
• B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 – 5years of relevant hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Tools (especially MS Excel) and basic knowledge of accounting software
• Strong numerical aptitude, analytical skills, and extreme attention to detail.
• Excellent integrity, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
