Creative Intern

Key Responsibilities
Creative Ideation and Concept Development:

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for campaigns, projects, and brand communications.
• Assist in developing creative concepts, mood boards, storyboards, and visual references.
• Research creative trends, audience preferences, and industry developments to inspire new ideas.
• Contribute to the development of concepts that align with client briefs and project objectives.

Design and Content Development:

• Assist in creating visual materials for digital and print platforms.
• Support the development of social media graphics, presentations, marketing materials, and campaign assets.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, art directors, and other creative professionals to execute projects.
• Ensure creative materials follow approved brand guidelines and project specifications.

Campaign Execution:

• Assist in translating creative concepts into campaign deliverables.
• Support the preparation and adaptation of creative assets for different platforms and audiences.
• Make revisions to creative materials based on feedback from supervisors and clients.
• Ensure assigned creative tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.

Research and Inspiration:

• Conduct research on design trends, advertising campaigns, visual styles, and creative techniques.
• Develop and maintain collections of creative references and inspiration materials.
• Analyse competitor campaigns and identify opportunities for creative differentiation.
• Explore new tools, techniques, and approaches that improve creative output.

Content Production Support:

• Assist with basic photo, video, and other multimedia production activities, where applicable.
• Support the preparation of production briefs, scripts, shot lists, and storyboards.
• Assist in organising creative assets and ensuring files are properly named, stored, and accessible.
• Collaborate with content creators and production teams to support project execution.

Quality Control and Brand Consistency:

• Review creative materials for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project briefs.
• Ensure designs and other creative outputs meet established brand guidelines.
• Incorporate feedback and corrections before final submission.
• Assist in checking creative deliverables for formatting, spelling, and technical specifications.

Team Collaboration and Learning:

• Work closely with the creative team and other departments to support ongoing projects.
• Participate in creative reviews, feedback sessions, and internal presentations.
• Maintain an organised portfolio of assigned projects and completed work.
• Apply feedback from supervisors to improve creative skills and professional development.

Other Duties:

• Perform other creative and production-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.2
