Account Personnel

Job Summary

• We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven account professional to join our growing team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, securing, and maintaining business, as well as developing and managing relationships with existing clients/vendors.
• The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
• Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Report to management on the establishment's finances.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Develop, implement, modify and document record-keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
• Develop, maintain and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their activities.

Requirements

• B.Sc Degree in Accounting with a Second Class Upper (2.1) or a related field; ICAN is an advantage
• A minimum of 2 years of Accounting experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPI's.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word; strong in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of Accounting Strategies & Analysis
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skill.

Salary
N150,000 - N155,000 Monthly.
