Description
- The Senior Civil Engineer leads the design, planning, and oversight of complex civil engineering projects. This role involves managing teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through completion, including design, permitting, and construction phases.
- Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using CAD and other software.
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments.
- Oversee construction activities, perform inspections, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
- Review and approve technical reports, plans, and contract documents.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is an added advantage.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
Salary
N700,000 monthly.
