Copywriter

Job Summary

• The Copywriter will be responsible for developing clear, persuasive, and engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing objectives.
• The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of digital marketing, storytelling, and consumer behavior, with the ability to produce high-quality copy for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop compelling copy for digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
• Write engaging content for social media, websites, blogs, email campaigns, advertisements, brochures, and other marketing materials.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and creative teams to develop campaign concepts and messaging.
• Conduct research to understand target audiences, market trends, and competitors.
• Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.
• Edit, proofread, and optimize content for clarity, grammar, and SEO where applicable.
• Develop creative campaign ideas, taglines, headlines, and calls-to-action that drive engagement and conversions.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, content marketing strategies, and emerging digital platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Mass Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• 4 – 6 years of proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, or similar role, preferably within a marketing agency, advertising agency, or corporate environment.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and results-driven copy across various platforms.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and SEO best practices.
• Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear and engaging content.
• Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing for B2B and B2C audiences.
• Familiarity with SEO tools and AI-assisted content creation tools.
• Experience creating scripts for video, radio, or digital campaigns.
• Ability to adapt tone and messaging for different brands and target audiences.
