HR Manager

Our client, based in VI, Lagos, is currently seeking an HR Manager to lead and build on the people function within the organization. This role owns the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance management, culture, and HR systems. Reporting to the Director of HR and working closely with department heads to ensure the company maintains strong, well-supported practices.

  Responsibilities :

• Own end-to-end recruitment from job requisitions through offer and onboarding.
• Manage HR compliance with Nigerian labour law, including contracts, statutory deductions, leave policies, and workplace safety standards.
• Oversee the performance management system, including goal-setting, review cycles, and career progression pathways.
• Lead employee relations; conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes.
• Set up and manage HR systems/tools (HRIS, payroll coordination, attendance/shift tracking).

• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Solid working knowledge of Nigerian labour law and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience managing recruitment pipelines and onboarding new employees.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills; ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion.
• Experience with HRIS/HR tools and basic payroll coordination.
• Bachelor's degree / HND in a related field; CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent HR certification is a strong plus.
  

Monthly compensation: NGN 450,000 - NGN 500,000
