Housekeeper

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all assigned areas of the residence to a high standard.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors, surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, and other designated spaces.
• Wash, iron, fold, and properly store clothing, linens, and household fabrics when required.
• Dispose of waste and maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages or replenishment needs promptly.
• Ensure household items and equipment are properly handled and maintained.
• Organize and arrange household items to maintain a neat and orderly environment.
• Assist with occasional household errands as directed by the Principal.
• Report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the household and family affairs.
• Follow all household instructions and schedules provided by the Principal.
• Be available to work flexible hours when required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential or commercial cleaning.
• Good knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards consistently.
