Description
- A cook in a serviced apartment prepares meals for guests, manages kitchen hygiene, and ensures food quality.
- They handle daily food production, cater to resident requests, and maintain stock safety in a residential hospitality setting.
Key Duties
- Food Preparation: Cook meals, follow recipes accurately, and prep ingredients like washing, cutting, and seasoning.
- Guest Service: Accommodate custom dietary needs and special requests from apartment residents.
- Kitchen Sanitation: Clean and sanitize work areas, appliances, and utensils before and after shifts.
- Inventory Control: Check stock levels, track expiration dates, and store food using proper rotation methods.
- Safety Compliance: Follow health, hygiene, and fire safety regulations inside the kitchen.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma; culinary training or certification is a plus.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of cooking experience in a hotel, apartment, or restaurant setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of diverse culinary techniques, local and continental dishes, and time management.
- Physical Ability: Stamina to stand for long hours and lift moderate loads.
Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
