Key Responsibilties
Successful candidates will work with the Centre's academic and management teams to:
- Support delivery and quality assurance of training and assessment activities.
- Review training delivery against approved curricula, National Occupational Standards and applicable requirements.
- Participate in learner assessment and verification of evidence where appropriately qualified.
- Review training, assessment and learner documentation for completeness and quality.
- Support standardisation and consistency of assessment practices.
- Provide professional feedback to trainers and Centre management.
- Participate in periodic quality-assurance meetings, programme reviews and improvement activities.
- Support preparation and maintenance of documentation required for NBTE/NSQF quality-assurance processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching, assessment and learner outcomes.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Currently reside in Kogi State (Applications from persons residing outside Kogi State will not be considered).
- Possess the relevant academic qualification from a recognised higher education institution.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of their relevant professional or academic discipline.
- Have strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.
- Be available to undertake the assignment on a part-time basis in Lokoja, Kogi State.
- Be willing to participate in quality-assurance, assessor or other capacity-development activities required by the Centre.

Highly Desirable Experience and Certifications
Preference will be given to candidates who possess one or more of the following:
- Previous or current experience as a lecturer, instructor or trainer in a university, polytechnic, college of education, technical institution or other recognised higher education/training institution.
- Certification or recognised training as an NBTE/NSQ Quality Assurance Assessor (QAA).
- Experience as an NSQ Assessor, Internal Quality Assurance Manager (IQAM), Internal Verifier or in a related competency-based assessment/quality-assurance role.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF), National Occupational Standards (NOS) and competency-based education and training.
- Experience conducting learner assessments and maintaining assessment portfolios and other evidence of competency.
- Experience in curriculum implementation, examination, moderation, accreditation, institutional quality assurance or academic programme monitoring.
- Relevant professional certifications or memberships within the applicant's discipline.
- Evidence of continuing professional development in teaching, assessment, ICT, entrepreneurship or quality assurance.
- Applicants who meet the academic and professional requirements but do not currently possess QAA certification may still apply. Successful candidates may be required to undertake relevant NBTE-recognised assessor/quality-assurance training and certification as determined by the Centre.
Nature of Engagament:
- The positions are part-time and successful candidates will be engaged based on the Centre's training, assessment and quality-assurance schedules.
