Job Summary

• We are seeking a dependable, diligent, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic environment across all assigned areas.
• The ideal candidate should be committed to high cleanliness standards, demonstrate professionalism, and ensure that the workplace remains safe and welcoming for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces in all assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect offices, restrooms, kitchens, reception areas, and other common spaces.
• Empty waste bins, dispose of refuse appropriately, and maintain proper waste segregation where applicable.
• Replenish consumables such as tissue paper, hand soap, sanitizers, and other cleaning supplies.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, furniture, and office equipment as required.
• Ensure floors, walkways, and work areas are free from spills, dirt, and other safety hazards.
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules to maintain a consistently clean environment.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
• Handle cleaning materials and chemicals in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Support general housekeeping duties and perform any other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / WAEC or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is an added advantage.
• Good physical health and ability to perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
• Basic understanding of workplace hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
• Must be honest, trustworthy, punctual, and dependable.
