Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Electrician to join our automobile manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and electronic systems in vehicles to ensure they meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in wiring, lighting systems, batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, and control units.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical manuals, and wiring schematics.
• Conduct electrical inspections and functional tests on vehicles during and after assembly.
• Install and troubleshoot vehicle accessories such as alarms, tracking devices, infotainment systems, and air conditioning controls.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with company quality standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality control teams to resolve electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify faults and verify repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of OND, Trade Test Certificate, Technical College Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Auto Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience as an Auto Electrician in an automobile manufacturing company, automotive workshop, or vehicle maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in the use of electrical diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Professional certifications in auto electrical systems or related fields will be an added advantage.
