Product Manager

Position: Product Manager Industry: Technology Solutions Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job Type: Full-Time Job Description (Summary): The Product Manager will oversee product strategies, development, and execution to align with organizational goals. This role requires conducting extensive research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring products meet market needs and financial viability while delivering exceptional customer value. Strategy: Continuously assess initiatives, products, and features to identify growth opportunities. Analyze competitive landscapes and customer data for informed recommendations. Lead proceedings with CXOs and stakeholders to achieve strategic product outcomes. Evaluate product opportunities based on need, target market, willingness to pay, and financial viability. Advise on competitive positioning in a complex business economy. Organize brainstorming sessions to achieve desired outcomes. Research: Conduct surveys, interviews, site visits, and online research to identify opportunities. Analyze market and resource trends to communicate insights effectively. Develop strategic documentation, including Business Case Documents, White Papers, and Proposals. Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement and enhancement. Financial: Develop and substantiate business cases with financial simulations and projections. Create competitive pricing strategies based on market and competitor analysis. Product Development: Engage with customers to elicit requirements and communicate them to stakeholders. Develop core technical documentation, including Functional and Business Requirement Documents. Plan product roadmaps and manage backlogs using tools like Jira or Trello. Collaborate with developers to ensure alignment with expectations. Organize daily standups and prioritize feature development based on concrete metrics. Use requirements to drive test case design, manage scope, and oversee deployment. Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. 4-5 years of proven experience in product management or a similar role. Strong background in strategy, research, financial modeling, and product development. Budget: Open to Negotiation
