Video Editor / Graphics Designer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Video Editor / Graphics Designer to produce engaging visual content across digital platforms.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling video content, designing high-quality graphics, and ensuring all creative assets align with the organization's brand identity and communication goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, marketing campaigns, events, advertisements, and internal communications.
• Design creative graphics for digital and print materials, including social media posts, flyers, brochures, banners, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Develop motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video productions.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create visually engaging campaigns.
• Capture and organize video footage when required.
• Ensure consistency in branding, design standards, and visual storytelling across all platforms.
• Optimize video and graphic content for different digital channels, including websites and social media.
• Manage multiple creative projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging design tools, and best practices in video editing and graphic design.
• Maintain an organized archive of creative assets and project files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, Graphics Designer, or in a similar creative role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design projects.
• Must have completed NYSC.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and related creative tools.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of video formats, compression, and export settings for multiple platforms.
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Basic photography or videography skills are an added advantage.
