Sales Officer

Summary
- We are seeking high-performing Sales Officers to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth and business development across Lagos, Abuja and Kano.
- This role is strictly for candidates who have proven sales experience within the financial services industry. Candidates from unrelated industries will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the acquisition of new customers and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Generate leads through direct sales, referrals, networking and other business development channels.
- Promote the company's financial products and services to prospective customers.
- Meet and consistently exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Conduct market visits and actively identify new business opportunities.
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through conversion and onboarding.
- Follow up on prospective clients and convert qualified leads into paying customers.
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates on business development activities.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant sales experience within the financial services industry.
- Experience in commercial banking, finance houses, lending companies, microfinance banks, merchant banks, asset management, investment companies, or other relevant financial services institutions will be an advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong customer acquisition and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Strong understanding of financial products and the ability to sell effectively to individuals and/or businesses.
- Ability to work independently and aggressively pursue sales opportunities.
- Must be commercially minded, target-driven and results-oriented.
- Candidates must be willing to work on-site and conduct field/business development activities when required.
- Candidates must be able to show evidence of what they have actually sold, who they sold to, and the results they achieved.
Salary
N300,000 monthly.
