Waiters

Job Summary

• We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused waiter/waitress to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure guests enjoy a pleasant dining experience, and support the smooth day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat customers in a warm and professional manner.
• Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining excellent service standards.
• Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Ensure dining tables are clean, organised, and properly set before and after service.
• Process customer payments and issue receipts where required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Restock service stations and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Perform other duties assigned by the restaurant manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, fast-food outlet, or hospitality environment is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, courteous, and well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling bills and payments.
