Area Sales Manager (FMCG / Personal Care Products)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth, expand market coverage, and strengthen distributor and retailer relationships across the assigned territory.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in FMCG sales, particularly in personal care, beauty, homecare, or related consumer goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets across the assigned territory.
• Manage distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts to drive product availability and sales growth.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
• Supervise and support sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets.
• Ensure effective product distribution, merchandising, and visibility across retail outlets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and customers.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and territory performance updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant FMCG sales experience, preferably in personal care, cosmetics, homecare, or related consumer goods.
• Proven experience in distributor management, territory development, and sales target achievement.
• Strong negotiation, communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Ability to analyse sales performance and identify market growth opportunities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good knowledge of the Jos market and surrounding areas is an advantage.

Salary
N375,000 monthly.
