Insurance Unit Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, and result-oriented Insurance Unit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, and managing a team of Insurance Financial Advisors while driving sales and achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop Insurance Financial Advisors.
• Build and maintain a strong, active, and productive sales team.
• Set sales targets and drive the team to consistently achieve business objectives.
• Generate new insurance business through effective prospecting and networking.
• Coach and motivate team members to improve their sales performance.
• Monitor individual and team performance and provide regular feedback.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects.
• Promote and sell the company's life and general insurance products.
• Support Financial Advisors in prospecting, presentations, closing sales, and client retention.
• Organize team meetings, training sessions, and sales activities.
• Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow the unit's portfolio.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in insurance, banking, financial services, sales, or business development is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recruit, manage, motivate, and develop a sales team.
• Target-driven, proactive, and self-motivated.
• Strong networking and relationship-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to build a career in the insurance industry.
