- The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and manage communication, speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in children and/or adults. The role will involve a combination of clinic-based consultations or home visits within Lagos.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy sessions at the clinic and patients' homes.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Collaborate effectively with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain professional standards and adhere to ethical and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- HMD/BSc in Speech and Language Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related field.
- Relevant professional registration where applicable.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
- Experience in paediatric, adult, neurological, or community-based practice is an advantage.
- Ability to travel within Lagos for home visits.
