Job Summary
- As part of our expansion, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Estate Surveyor / Valuer to join our team and support our growing real estate portfolio.
- The Estate Surveyor / Valuer will be responsible for conducting property inspections, valuations, market research, and real estate advisory services.
- The successful candidate will support property acquisition, sales, leasing, management, and investment analysis while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property inspections and site assessments.
- Prepare accurate valuation reports for residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties.
- Carry out feasibility and viability studies for real estate projects.
- Conduct market research and property analysis.
- Advise clients on property investments, acquisitions, disposals, and development opportunities.
- Assist in property sales, leasing, and marketing activities.
- Manage property portfolios on behalf of clients.
- Negotiate tenancy agreements and lease renewals.
- Monitor market trends and property values.
- Prepare professional reports and presentations for clients and management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, developers, and regulatory agencies.
- Support land acquisition, documentation, and title verification processes.
- Assist with dispute resolution and property-related consultations where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Estate Surveying and Valuation.
- Sound knowledge of property valuation methods and real estate practices.
- Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Membership or registration with relevant professional bodies such as the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers is an added advantage.
- Experience in property management, facility management, or real estate consultancy.
- Knowledge of GIS, property management software, or valuation tools is an added advantage.
