Accounting Officer

Our client, an IT and Computer Hardware Sales & Distribution Company based in Ikeja, Lagos, is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Officer to support its daily accounting operations and financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and process daily transactions.
- Reconcile sales, bank accounts, receipts and payments.
- Monitor customer accounts, outstanding debts and supplier balances.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and stock discrepancy investigations.
- Prepare financial reports and support tax documentation and compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal financial controls.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Accounting or Accountancy, or ICAN ATS qualification.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and organisational ability.
- High level of integrity, accuracy and accountability.
