Experienced Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary
- We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations.
- The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the kitchen runs efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Support chefs and cooks in meal preparation and cooking activities.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
- Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure proper storage of food items in line with hygiene standards.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Help with receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the chef or kitchen supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take instructions.

Salary
N70,000 - N85,000 / monthly.
