HR Shared Services Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategy, policies, and objectives aligned with organizational goals
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, onboarding, and staff verification (KYE), including for affiliate companies
- Manage compensation and total remuneration structures fixed pay, variable pay/short-term incentives, benefits in kind, and retirement benefits within financial sector norms
- Oversee performance management, appraisals, training and development, and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with labour law and statutory HR requirements; keep policies current and enforceable
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date personnel records and HR documentation systems
- Coordinate board committee and board pack support for HR-related oversight matters
- Manage HR budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost analysis for the HR function
- Lead employee relations, retention initiatives, and organizational culture programmes
- Supervise a small HR/administrative support team
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field. MBA, MSc is highly preferred
- Professional certificate such as CIPM, SPHRI, PHRI, CIPD is a must have
- Proven experience with at least 7 years' experience in HR and 3 years experience in a senior HR generalist or HR management role, ideally within financial services
- Strong working knowledge of Nigerian employment law and statutory frameworks (Labour Act, ITF, PENCOM, NYSC, LIRS/FIRS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams) and HR information systems
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.
