Job Description
- We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Engineering Technician I to support field electrical maintenance activities, electrical isolation (LOTO), and contractor supervision for lighting, air-conditioning, motor maintenance, and related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and issue electrical work permits to contractors.
- Supervise contractors and immediately intervene in unsafe acts.
- Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews with contractors.
- Ensure scheduled work starts on time and promptly escalate unresolved issues.
- Monitor contractors’ work quality and compliance with Maintenance Procedures & Practices (MPP).
- Provide daily progress updates to the First Line Supervisor (FLS) and Planner.
- Obtain FLS approval before implementing any changes.
- Verify and accept completed work.
Requirements
- Relevant technical certification(s) or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in a closely related position.
- Strong communication and field reporting skills.
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
