Air Conditioning (AC) Technician / Facility Officer

The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of HVAC Systems, excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Installation and Maintenance: -
  • 1) Install, inspect, and maintain AC systems, including split units, central systems, and VRF systems.
  • 2) Perform routine maintenance to enhance system efficiency and longevity.
§ Troubleshooting and Repairs: -
  • 1) Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • 2) Repair or replace defective parts and components.
§ System Testing and Commissioning: -
  • 1) Test systems for proper functioning and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • 2) Commission new installations and provide client demonstrations.
§ Customer Support and Documentation: -
  • 1) Provide technical support and guidance to customers on system operations and maintenance.
  • 2) Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and work completed.
§ Safety and Compliance: -
  • 1) Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines during installation, maintenance, and repairs.
  • 2) Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
§ Facility Operations and Setup: -
  • 1) Oversee the setup and operation of HVAC systems.
  • 2) Ensure proper configuration and integration of AC systems.
  • 3) Collaborate with facility managers to optimize HVAC performance and energy efficiency.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education - Diploma or Trade Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, or related field.
  • Experience: - (1) Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician.
(2) Experience with different types of AC systems (split units, central systems, VRF). § Technical Skills: -
  • 1) Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • 2) Strong knowledge of electrical components and HVAC systems.
  • 3) Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
§ Soft Skills:
  • 1) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • 2) Good communication and customer service skills.
