External Auditor

Job Summary

• We are seeking a high-caliber and detail-oriented External Auditor to lead independent financial evaluations, compliance checks, and risk assessments across all business units within our group of companies.
• The External Auditor will be responsible for validating consolidated financial statements, ensuring strict adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulations, evaluating internal controls, and overseeing component audit processes.
• The ideal candidate possesses a strong professional accounting background, exceptional analytical capabilities, and uncompromised ethical integrity to safeguard the group's financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy.
• Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of group-wide internal controls over financial reporting.
• Scope and supervise component audit assignments across business units.
• Review accounting practices and compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Perform detailed substantive testing, analytical procedures, and financial risk assessments.
• Identify control deficiencies, financial risks, operational gaps, and potential indicators of fraud.
• Present audit findings, observations, and actionable recommendations to management.
• Monitor management’s implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or ICAN) is strictly required.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in external auditing.
• In-depth knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA 600) and IFRS frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and audit management platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical reporting skills.
• Strong leadership, project management, and objective decision-making capabilities.
• High level of professional skepticism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Salary
Negotiable based on experience.
