Role Description
- This is a full-time unpaid Volunteer role dedicated to supporting the foundation’s mission of serving children and communities in need. Day-to-day tasks may include heart 2 learning teaching outreach activities, assisting with digital fundraising campaigns, and helping manage communication with beneficiaries, partners, and supporters.
- The volunteer may contribute to content creation for social media and the website, help organize virtual events, and maintain accurate records of program activities.
- The role also involves collaborating with team members, responding to inquiries from potential donors or volunteers, and sharing regular updates on project progress.
- The volunteer is expected to be available during agreed hours, participate in online meetings, and uphold the foundation’s values of empathy, integrity, and respect.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to engage respectfully and clearly with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Organizational and time-management abilities, including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and working independently in a remote setting.
- Basic digital literacy, such as using email, video conferencing tools, and collaborative platforms; familiarity with social media or online outreach is an advantage.
- Demonstrated empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine commitment to supporting children and individuals facing economic hardship.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment, respond constructively to feedback, and adapt to changing needs and priorities.
- Previous experience in volunteering, community service, education, social work, or nonprofit initiatives is beneficial but not required.
- Reliable internet access and a suitable remote work environment to enable consistent participation in online activities and meetings.
