Sales Representative - IVD Industry

Job Summary

• The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales and market penetration of In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) products, laboratory equipment, and reagents across the South-South and South-West region.
• The role involves developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, expanding market coverage, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and promote IVD products, laboratory equipment, and reagents across the South-South and South-West region.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base and market presence within the assigned territory.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and customer training where required.
• Provide timely sales reports, market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights.
• Follow up on sales leads, customer enquiries, and business opportunities to improve conversion rates.
• Maintain existing accounts, ensure customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for product promotion and increased sales.
• Travel within the South-South and South-West region to visit customers, develop new accounts, and support sales activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience, preferably in the IVD, medical diagnostics, or laboratory equipment industry.
• Must currently reside in (Edo State, preferably Benin City), Lagos and Port Harcourt.
• Knowledge of laboratory products, diagnostic equipment, and reagents is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to generate sales, develop customer relationships, and meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong business development, prospecting, and account management abilities.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the South-South and South-West region.

Salary
N350,000 / month.
