- TechnoServe’s Building Precision Dairy Models in Nigeria (BuPreDMiN) aims to build a precision, sustainable, and productive local dairy value chain in Nigeria within 4 years in a way that increases the incomes, resilience, and carbon footprint of dairy farmers in Nigeria.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
- Ensures provision of reliable and secure driving services by driving office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery and collection of milk, documents, and other program related items while meeting official personnel and visitors at various locations.
- Interpret travel policy and procedures, Staff Rules, administrative circulars, financial regulations, and rules on travel-related matters.
- Maintain and contribute to policy information on fleet management.
- Work within cost-saving methods through proper use of vehicle, accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs, and provision of inputs to preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans and reports.
- Proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tyres, brakes, car washing, etc.
- Logs fuel consumption, maintenance, etc.

- The Program Manager will manage a team of up to 15 staff to implement this entrepreneurship, job creation and skills building project in Kano and Lagos state, Nigeria, over a 2 year and 4 months period.

- SAY WEE will improve the employability and entrepreneurship capability of 37,000 adolescent girls & young women in Kano and Lagos states in Nigeria, targeting those enrolled in vocational training or formal education institutions and those running microbusinesses, providing them with the entrepreneurial, digital and soft skills to secure formal employment or succeed in entrepreneurial ventures.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
- Recruit staff and oversee their induction on TechnoServe and project systems and processes.
- Develop project work plans and M&E plans.
- Oversee project-related procurement.
- Identify staff training needs and oversee staff capacity development as required.
- Maintain a good working relationship with the donor, partners, project steering committee members and key stakeholders.
- Effectively plan and manage the project steering committee meetings.

- Experience with SMEs is strongly required.
- Experience with entrepreneurship and business accelerator programs strongly preferred.
- Experience with youth and gender programming is preferred.
- Experience leading entrepreneurship and skills development programs, with aparticular focus on entrepreneurship, digital and soft skills.
- Among the experiences, at least 2 years of post-graduate experience in analytical and strategic roles within the private sector and/or development spheres (ideally with a top-tier management consulting firm).
Preferred Qualifications:

- Oversee all equipment and infrastructure (solar panel borehole, solar water heater, milk reception tanks, and others) and ensure they function optimally, and schedule timely and routine preventive maintenance where applicable.
- Facilitate and monitor the transportation of fresh milk supplied by the dairy farmers and mini farms to Danone Fan Milk’s plant according to standard operating procedures and compliance.
- Work with the MCC quality specialist to properly analyze fresh milk supplied by the dairy farmers daily.
- Document and update the quality and quantity of fresh milk received from the dairy farmers and mini-farms, and supplied to Danone Fan Milk’s plant weekly.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly reports according to prescribed guidelines and format and share with the MCC manager.
- Prepare and share with the accounts payable team a weekly schedule of payments to the dairy farmers for fresh milk supply.
- Support the dairy productivity, and feed and fodder teams of the BuPreDMiN project by providing continuous feedback on the quality of milk supply and interactions with the dairy farmers.
- Manage the relationship between the MCC and all the milk suppliers in a way that not only attracts more suppliers to the centers but ensures retention of these suppliers.
- Carry out monthly town hall meetings with stakeholders.
- Carry out any other duty that the MCC manager may assign.
Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Entrepreneurship, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economic, Business administration or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing a dairy milk collection center or a food or FMCG retail outlet.
- Alternatively, a master’s degree with at least 1 year experience.
- Demonstrated experience in financial and inventory management
- Experience in working in rural communities in Nigeria.
