Resident Engineer

Job Summary
- Our client is seeking a Resident Engineer who will be responsible for providing on-site network monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and technical support to ensure optimal network performance and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and resolve faults, latency, and service disruptions.
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, CPEs, and other network equipment.
- Troubleshoot fiber, microwave, wired, and wireless networks.
- Liaise with the NOC and client’s IT team to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain network documentation, incident logs, and performance reports.
Requirements:
- B.Sc/HND in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in an ISP, telecom, or enterprise network environment.
- Knowledge of FTTH/FTTX, MPLS, VLANs, BGP, routing, switching, and fiber optics.
- CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or MikroTik certification is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
Salary
N160,000 – N200,000 per month + incentive.
