Job Location : Lagos Deadline : November 03, 2026 Quick Recommended LinksRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise QA/QC inspectors and ensure quality inspections follow ITPs, drawings, standards and client requirements.
- Review and approve QA/QC reports, ITP checklists, welding logs, material certificates, NCR reports and inspection records.
- Lead Non-Conformance (NCR) reporting and ensure Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) are implemented and closed out.
- Coordinate with client QA/QC representatives for joint inspections, punch list issuance, and work sign-offs.
- Validate welding consumables, WPS/PQR, welder qualifications and NDT test compliance (RT, MT, UT, PT).
- Support QMS audits, internal audits, ISO 9001:2015 certification, and ensure compliance across construction and fabrication activities.
- Ensure traceability of materials, welds, consumables and calibration tools is maintained on all projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.Sc./HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgy, Welding) or a related technical field.
- 5-7 years in QA/QC roles in EPC, fabrication, oil & gas or construction projects.
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (Required), ASNT NDT Level II (PT, MT, UT or RT) (Required), AWS/CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards (ASME, API, AWS), ITPs, NDT methods, material traceability, reporting & leadership.
