- We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Pricing Manager to develop and optimize pricing strategies across our products and services.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing market trends, customer behaviour, competitor pricing, and financial performance to develop pricing strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, and market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies across the company's products and services.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify pricing opportunities and market trends.
- Monitor pricing performance and identify opportunities for price optimization and revenue growth.
- Analyze pricing data, customer segments, demand, and price sensitivity to support pricing decisions.
- Develop pricing strategies for new product launches, promotions, and market expansion initiatives.
- Monitor key metrics including revenue, profit margins, sales volume, market share, and customer acquisition cost.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and other relevant teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
- Conduct financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to assess the impact of pricing decisions.
- Review and improve pricing processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure pricing strategies comply with relevant regulatory and business requirements.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations on pricing performance and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 years+ of experience in pricing analysis, revenue management, commercial strategy, or a related role.
- Experience within the financial services industry is preferred.
- Proven experience in pricing strategy development, implementation, and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of financial modelling, statistical analysis, forecasting, and revenue management.
- Strong understanding of profitability metrics, including gross margin, contribution margin, break-even analysis, and price elasticity.
- Experience conducting market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Professional certification in pricing or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
