- This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications, with a strong focus on microservices architecture and Spring Framework. The engineer will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, and deployment. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing code, optimizing performance, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. The Senior Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Java and general Programming skills, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development across the full lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining Microservices, including service orchestration, scalability, and resilience.
- Deep knowledge of the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) for enterprise-grade application development.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in hybrid, collaborative environments.
- Minimum of 6 years experience
- Banking or fintech experience is a must
- Prior experience in a senior or lead engineering role, including mentoring and technical guidance, is highly beneficial.
