Group Operations Manager

Job Summary

• The Group Operations Manager is responsible for all factory production, maintenance operations and administration ensuring low down-times, production planning and efficiency utilizing effective management of workforce and materials to achieve set organizational goals.

Job Description

• Supervise the entire workflow of factory, admin and sales operations ensuring they meet their deliverables.
• Ensure scheduled maintenance of all machinery forestalling breakdowns
• Ensure that production achieve the company's operative goals.
• With production and maintenance team, draw up production planning and schedules according to demand & inventory level.
• Set up operating and quality standards, production processes and ensure implementation.
• Supervise and evaluate performance of all personnel, identify training needs and execute them.
• Determine necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.) required
• Ensure comprehensive and transparent inventory management procedures
• Effective management of the company’s customers ensuring quality service delivery, aggressive business development and reactivation of dormant relationships
• Ensure all financial reports are rendered in due time.

Qualification

• B.Sc/HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Business Management or any Business related course.
• Candidate must possess basic experience in overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of operations in the group.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years senior management work experience preferably from a steel manufacturing company.
• Must not be less than 50 years of age
• To oversee operations in factories located in Iyana-Ipaja-Lagos, Nteje and Ekwulummiliin Anambra State and sales outlets
• To be based in Lagos.

Other Conditions:

• Ideal candidate should presently reside within Iyana-Ipaja, Ikeja or Alimosho LGA or environ.
• They should be ready to be interviewed physically within one week.

Other Conditions:

• They must be very hardworking, target oriented, with high level of integrity
• He must preferably have worked or is currently working in a key steel manufacturing company with organized systems and procedures

Skill Set:

• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Attention to details
• Leadership skills
• Business Management skills.
