Job Summary
- We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and numerically inclined Accounts Officer to support the company’s daily financial operations and ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and documentation of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate daily financial transactions
- Reconcile daily cash collections, POS, bank transactions, and customer payments
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents
- Monitor customer accounts, payments, and outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and collections
- Reconcile sales records with stock movement and transaction records
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Support petty cash and expense tracking
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting records
- Identify and report discrepancies in financial or transaction records
- Work closely with the Accountant, Sales, Inventory, and Store teams to ensure accurate records
Requirements
- HND/B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 1–3 years' relevant experience, preferably in FMCG, wholesale, or distribution
- Good understanding of basic accounting and reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Candidates residing within Ajegunle, Olodi Apapa, Apapa, Amuwo Odofin, Mile 2, or nearby areas will be given preference
Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 per month.
