Job Summary
- The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing reports, monitoring transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supportingmanagement with accurate financial information fordecision-making.
- The ideal candidate must possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash management reports.
- Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions.
- Prepare and file statutory deductions and tax-related obligations.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic financial reviews and support internal control processes.
- Assist with inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
- Prepare schedules and documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Support external auditors during annual audits.
- Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Added Advantages
- Previous auditing experience.
- ICAN certification or ICAN in view.
- Experience within a manufacturing, beverage, liquor, or FMCG environment.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Saturday
- Monday to Friday resume 7:30am close by 5:00pm
- Saturday resume 7:30am close 3:00pm
Salary
N200,000 per month.
