Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive/Mechanical Engineering Professional to join our growing team.
- The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in both automotive manufacturing/vehicle assembly and vehicle servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics.
- This is a technical role requiring practical industry experience and the ability to work independently.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in both automotive manufacturing/vehicle assembly and vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
- Strong practical knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in vehicle assembly, commissioning, inspection, quality control, or production operations.
- Experience with automotive electrical and electronic systems is an added advantage.
- Experience working with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is highly desirable.
- EV/Hybrid vehicle experience is an added advantage.
- Experience in warranty diagnosis, technical reporting, job cards, and service documentation is an advantage.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
- Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform effectively in a fast-paced automotive environment.
- Must be available to resume immediately.
- Candidates preferably resident in Lagos.
Important:
- We are looking for a senior, highly practical technician—not an entry-level mechanic or graduate trainee.
- Candidates must have practical experience in BOTH automotive manufacturing/vehicle assembly AND vehicle servicing/maintenance/repairs.
- Candidates who do not meet this requirement should NOT apply.
