Facility Supervisor

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and technically competent Facility Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of our company facilities.
• The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge and practical experience in pool and gym management, as well as janitorial and gardening experience.
• The successful candidate will manage recreational facilities, and ensure that all buildings, utilities, gym equipment, swimming pool systems, and other infrastructure remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of all Janitorial and gardening activities within the facility.
• Oversee the operation, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the swimming pool and related equipment.
• Monitor pool water quality, filtration systems, pumps, chemical levels, and general pool hygiene.
• Coordinate routine servicing and maintenance of gym equipment, including treadmills, exercise bikes, weights, and other fitness equipment.
• Ensure gym facilities are clean, safe, functional, and properly organized.
• Schedule and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings, utilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify faults, safety hazards, and maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with technicians, contractors, and service providers.
• Monitor electrical, plumbing, water supply, power generation, air-conditioning, and other facility systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment servicing, pool treatment, and facility inspections.
• Assist in preparing facility maintenance schedules and budgets.
• Ensure emergency and safety equipment is available, functional, and properly maintained.
• Promote a clean, safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for employees and visitors.
• Report facility issues and maintenance requirements to management promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, HND, or OND in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Technology, Estate Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant experience in facility management or maintenance supervision especially gym management and pool management.
• Practical experience in swimming pool and gym management is required.
• Strong knowledge of pool maintenance, water treatment, filtration systems, pumps, and pool safety.
• Good knowledge of gym equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Understanding of basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building maintenance systems.
• Strong knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Excellent supervisory, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional certification in Facilities Management, Engineering, HSE, Pool Operations, or related fields will be an added advantage.
