Job Summary
- The Storekeeper / Inventory Officer is responsible for the effective receipt, storage, issuance, and control of all inventory.
- The role ensures accurate stock records, proper handling of goods, timely reporting, and coordination with suppliers and management to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent losses or discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety, organization, and accurate record-keeping of all inventory.
- Receiving and inspecting goods from suppliers to confirm quantity and condition.
- Issuing stock to Sales Representatives only upon presentation of a duly approved invoice.
- Maintaining proper documentation of all stock movements (inward and outward).
- Conducting periodic stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting low or fast - moving items to Management.
- Supporting audit processes and ensuring compliance with company inventory procedures.
- Preventing stock loss, theft, or damage through strict control measures.
Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
