Job Summary
- We are seeking a professional, energetic, and guest-focused Gym Instructor / Personal Trainer to support guests in achieving their fitness goals while maintaining a safe and welcoming hotel fitness environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct gym inductions and orientation for hotel guests.
- Develop basic workout programmes tailored to individual fitness goals.
- Provide one-on-one personal training sessions where required.
- Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and safe equipment usage.
- Supervise guests during workouts to ensure safe exercise practices.
- Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the gym floor.
- Regularly inspect gym equipment and promptly report faults or maintenance needs.
- Promote guest engagement with the hotel's fitness facilities.
- Build and maintain courteous, professional relationships with guests.
- Support fitness events, wellness workshops, and health initiatives organized by the hotel.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Formal certification in Fitness Instruction, Personal Training, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Proven prior experience as a Gym Instructor or Personal Trainer.
- Solid working knowledge of exercise physiology, workout techniques, and standard gym equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Professional, energetic, approachable, and customer-service-oriented disposition.
- Valid First Aid / CPR certification is an added advantage.
