Quality Control Officer

The Quality Control Officer ensures that all food products meet established quality and safety standards. This role involves daily inspections, testing, and monitoring of processes and finished products to maintain high hygiene, consistency, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine checks on raw materials, in process production, and finished products. Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices across the production area. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., NAFDAC, SON). Document and report quality issues or deviations from standards. Work with production staff to correct quality problems promptly. Assist in training team members on quality and safety protocols. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and reports. Requirements: Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field. At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry is an added advantage. Knowledge of food safety systems (e.g., HACCP, GMP). Attention to detail and strong observational skills. Good communication and reporting skills.
