Job Overview
- We are seeking a passionate, qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary School team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Mathematics lessons, developing students' mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills, preparing students for internal and external examinations, assessing students' progress and creating a stimulating learning environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education/Mathematics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) where applicable as an added advantage.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
- Experience teaching within a Cambridge Associate School is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of the Secondary Mathematics curriculum and effective teaching practices.
- Experience preparing students for relevant internal and external examinations.
- Ability to make Mathematics practical, engaging and relatable to students.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer and digital literacy skills.
- A strong commitment to student growth, academic excellence and the school's values.
